About Us

With the support of the Neighborhood Parks Council, the Friends of Muriel Leff Mini Park began gathering in mid-2009. Park group organizing efforts began with a picnic in the park on July 4th, the late Muriel Leff's birthday. Following the picnic, a workday was held in late 2009 to help spruce up the park. In early 2010 this website was set up to share information about the park group's efforts, and to recruit more support for this wonderful little park.

In 2011, Friends of Muriel Leff Mini Park has been working towards applying for grant funds to improve the park. Join us!
